Empowerment of National Center for Sustainable Energy on gender mainstreaming in sustainable energy sector.
Brief information on the project:
The "Empowerment of NCSE on Gender Mainstreaming in the Sustainable Energy Sector" project is part of the "Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies in Moldova (E4M)" initiative, financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ. This project addresses the critical need for integrating gender perspectives into Moldova's energy policies, focusing on energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE). It seeks to enhance the organizational and personnel capacities of the National Center for Sustainable Energy (NCSE) to mainstream gender equality in its strategies and operations. Key activities include conducting a T raining Needs Assessment (TNA), developing a comprehensive training manual, and organizing training sessions to equip NCSE staff with the skills and knowledge to promote gender-responsive energy policies and financial instruments
